We at SoundBound are offering fellowships for musicians, managers, artists, DJs, anyone and everyone – to get you involved in the music industry!

Our roots are simple. SoundBound is a partnership between two very successful music conventions from last year – Global Groove, which focused on the electronic music scene in India and UnConvention that brought the independent music industry together. SoundBound will feature a series of panels on the music industry, in-depth workshops and some super music showcases.

The panel discussions act more as open forums on everything from the state of the music industry in India to how to promote your band. While we will all listen to the opinions of the panelists who are industry leaders from India, Germany and the UK, and all experts in their own field, it as important to hear from you. Questions, opinions and ideas – they’re all welcome at SoundBound. The indie music industry in India is still at a nascent stage, we’ve a lot of work to do, and we’re all there to push forward together.

SoundBound is also about making connections and finding inspiration. Surrounded by a roomful of like-minded individuals, you can meet potential managers and booking agents, run your new business idea by interested artists or even discover a new band.

All of this – the open forum, making connections, and voicing opinions only makes sense if YOU are there. We’re calling out to all musicians, managers, artists, DJs, anyone and everyone involved in the music industry to come and be a part of SoundBound this year.

It would be great to see everyone involved in the electronic and indie music industry at SoundBound. Because it’s important for all of you to be at the convention, we’re offering 50 fellowships to cover your travel expenses to SoundBound this year. The fellowships are a grant of Rs.5000 for participants from the North-East (which is just a tad further) and Rs.3500 for participants from all other cities (other than Mumbai and Pune of course).

To apply for a fellowship please fill in the registration form below and we’ll get right back to you. See you at SoundBound!
